The Solstice is an astronomical phenomenon which defines the position of the Sun seen from the Earth, and leads me to propose, through my music, that you raise your eyes up to the skies and dive into a universe of possibilities.
My music is about harmonies but also strong statements which come and go through melancholy and eventually joy. Subtlety and imprudence feed me so I can offer you, for a few songs’ time, what is the essence of music: passion.
From life to death, from love to hate, all of this is brought up by an assertive rhythm and it is to this arduous task that the musician has to dedicate herself. I am this singer who wants to talk to you and be inspired by you. I am from this picturesque city Brussels, from this city that handles so many languages well. I am Solstice, I am 24 years old and I am already regretting not to have met you yet!
I would like to sing to you about what drives me and makes me afraid, to tell you about my friends and my anger that demands a never-stopping dance. I feel my singer models, my piano, the 70's, jazz, pop, classical and so many other things pushing me in the back to enter the stage and tell you, with all the sensuality required, that music and emotions are eternal.
