Si Taylor is a U.K. based singer/songwriter...he's been around a while! Musical influences range from Rockabilly, Skiffle & Pop through to Folk & Americana. Live performances are raw and passionate, drawing inspiration from the likes of Bruce Springsteen & Lucinda Williams. He records and performs both solo and with a band. Si was born into music: his father is British pop pioneer Vince Eager His early career saw him fronting Nottingham U.K. originals band Splash! and latterly Kicking Giants. The band gigged & toured extensively and made TV appearances, plus a BBC Radio One session for Janice Long, as well as demo sessions for E.M.I, Arista and Island. Si's also spent many years in the music industry, playing, tour managing and in live production & events. These days, Si divides his musical time between writing and recording original music and fronting covers band The Boutones, - www.theboutones.com.
ST has worked with Vince on many gigs, tours and projects. Notable & fondly remembered moments include playing and touring alongside Big Jim Sullivan, working with Marty Wilde, Wee Willie Harris and evenings with Joe Brown, Albert Lee and James Burton.
