Jairo Esteban Morales Salgado, known in the world of music as Rd Jems, was born on August 14, 1999 in the city of Barranquilla, department of Atlántico, Colombia. At the age of 9, he began to feel interested in music, participating in school civic events, dancing to Michael Jackson songs. At the age of 12 he decided to venture into rap music, debuting as Rd Jems in youth groups at the La Milagrosa, Fe y Joy school, where he became known as Rd Jems. Later, several groups were born, made up of him and his friends. His history in the music industry begins with the company H Estudio, where he recorded his first songs under this stage name. His first production was with H Estudio producer Tom Herrera, with whom he made several recordings, including 'Straight Outta Theme', 'Eres Tú' and 'Perdóname'. Later in 2020 he joined Faith Music, which is directed by artist and producer Zombie B.Q, with whom he is currently working. He gained recognition after going through several groups and becoming a soloist before finishing school, the same recognition he receives in other schools in the city after making presentations there. He has collaborated with several artists such as Zombie B.Q, his producer, Keilobb and Mandy Z. In collaboration with the latter, he releases the single 'Te Invito', which is part of the artist's first compositions after joining the Faith Music label. In addition to the song 'Te Invito', in December it presents the theme 'Christmas', an urban song themed to the most important end of the year celebration. In 2021 he released the song 'Houla', with which, in his words, he expanded his career and months later, in the same year, he released the song 'Pesadilla' She returns in 2023 with the song 'Ellx', this one inspired by a case of feminicide in her country. In 2024 he released the song 'Un Ft' with the Spanish Santaflow.
