Tribéca, a Swedish electronic music and electro pop band from Stockholm, was formed in 2001 by Lasse Lindh and Claes Björklund. Lindh, an established solo artist in Sweden since the late 1990s, provided song material for Tribéca, which was recorded and mixed by Björklund with support from Jon Lundin, Erik Lundstedt, and Per. Their debut album Kate-97 was released in 2002 under Labrador Records and gained significant airplay on radio and MTV in Scandinavia and France. The band's EP, Solitude, released in 2004, and follow-up album Dragon Down, released in 2005, continued their success in the region. After the release of Dragon Down, Lindh returned to his solo projects.
