Isaac Silvestre do Rosário is the name behind the musician and producer best known as Zacky Man. He was born in the city of Mindelo in São Vicente (Cape Verde) in 1993, but it was in Portugal that, at only 3 years old, he began his career as a musician with drum lessons. In 2006, again living in Cape Verde, he was part of the band Soft, playing at the Baía das Gatas Festival and two years later he began producing and composing with sound systems in Portugal.
In 2008 he won a contest in Cape Verde that took him to Connecticut in the United States to participate in a program at Wesleyan University where he perfected his drum technique for two months. After a few years in which he collaborated with Cape Verdean musicians, he returned to Portugal in 2011 and became the DJ/Toaster of his cousin Mr.Marley. 2012 marks the moment he joins his uncle One Love Family's band as keyboard player and also starts the project Mr.Marley & Zacky Man, which would later assume the name of Supa Squad, a band that achieved its first gold and singles. platinum of both. In 2013 he joins efforts with the Portuguese dub band JAH Version where he begins to step internationally and releases two singles and an LP over the next six years.
In 2020, in addition to the album that he released with Supa Squad “Tudo Nosso”, he is also working on a new EP by JAH Version, among other external productions and is now editing his first solo single “No Problem”, which will surely go mark the beginning of a new cycle in your career.
