A wave rushing to no shore, the ethereal atmosphere of a quiet night, the misty hour when everything falls asleep. A voice rises through the numb sunset - how slowly time flows.
Slow Jane is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and analog photographer. She started writing and taking photographs during her literature studies in Paris. Her work is full of images and dreams: she praises the blurred presence of memories, the melancholic magic of love stories.
Her music is soft yet heady, binding like a magical spell. Her voice will make you think of Joan Baez or Beth Gibbons (Portishead).
Her debut album "Caroline" came out in 2020. She then collaborated with fellow musicians: hence the singles "He said" with Fakear in 2021 and "Where are the heroes" with La Condamine in 2024, and the EP "Rêver sur les bords" as part of the duo Fée in 2023.
Her first solo release in 4 years, "One step at a time" is scheduled for release Dec 13th 2024, and the album for 2025.
