Observatoire des transports amoureux
Under the name LÉONARD, two kindred artists merge their stories into poetic and pop-infused songs.
For over a decade, these musicians from Bourges have been weaving an unclassifiable musical tapestry that draws inspiration from the visual flair of Les Rita Mitsouko, the depth of Dominique A, and the passion of Étienne Daho. With three EPs (2012, 2014, 2016) and two albums (2020, 2022) to their credit, they have collaborated with renowned names such as Blankass, Florent Marchet, visual artist Marie Hendriks, and Géraldine Capart—co-producer for Dominique A—to craft a singular, elegant, and joyful universe.
On stage, the duo is joined by a band to deliver lyrics as sensual as they are incisive, carried by resolutely pop melodies. In 2015, their track “Au revoir”—remixed by DJ Ness—became a hit on the electro scene, released by Wagram and produced by The Supermen Lovers.
Their latest album, “Ostende-Miami”, explores the emotional highs and lows of romantic journeys with a mix of disillusionment and humor. Supported by the French Chanson Center of Lignières, the Centre-Val de Loire region, and SACEM, the album was recorded at the Détours Studio in Brussels.
