Teamwork make the dreamwork, we are God works in mysterious ways
Daniel Giovanni Mkwezalamba better known as Genii Blakk is a Musician/Record producer.
Well known for his live performance skills on stage as well as real time freestyles, true
lyricism and woke content. He is by far listed as the best lyricist to set foot on the African Hip
Hop scene. Growing up he got introduced to making music and they bonded.
Born in Malawi in the era where Hip Hop was raising awareness of society's ills. His music
empowers Africans towards economic growth. He aims to inspire innovative minds to make
a difference. Bottom line is you'll be listening to an African Child trying to make it while
helping another one cross.
My first attempt at recording an album project was in 2016, i put together a body of work
entitled The Music Man. The album gained a lot of publicity from the singles released at the
time after more videos were officially released in 2020.
Being a Hip Hop artist from Africa is a true learning curve to understanding your life. My
passion for music is far much greater than just being an artist, but that of positive influence. I
have a growing fanbase that expects me to deliver more content and inspiration. The answer
to that is yes I do have content and music that people haven't heard. I want to be highly
celebrated for my work like one of the greatest like Burna Boy, Diamond Platnumz to J Cole
and Kendrick Lamer. Of course in the right hands I will be able to maximize my potential.
As one of Africa's rising stars my focus is to bring my people together to contribute to the
growth of our continent. Genii Blakk stands as a testimony of change and believes that
Africa is where the music began. As a record producer and musician I feel I deserve to be
public not that it's the most important thing but being that it's the rightful thing. I urge all
professional music supervisors to feel free and contact me. I'd like to share this music with
people that agree with my vision and understand my concepts.
This year I released a few records and I'm still working on releasing more work. I put
together a body of work entitled D.E.L.F.T. This compilation is expected to be released on
the 16th Of December 2021. The initials stand for Don’t Even Look For Trouble, an
inspiring album dedicated to our generation and a classic for many years to come.
Reaching out has always been one of the goals for my music. Half the time I'm composing
feels like the whole world shuts down. Ever Since i started making music I always see myself
standing in front of a huge crowd. My composition is more heavy bass, afrocentric hip hop
and afro jazz music. My music is informative, inspiring and entertaining to say the least. I've
got more work I'm currently polishing and yes dreams come true when you submit yourself
towards them.
I’d like to connect people towards my music internationally and assist anywhere that I can in
people's lives. I'm inspired by love and growth, and I believe in God.
