Signed to Twiztid's Majik Ninja label, MC Lex the Hex Master is a hardcore and horrorcore rapper from Queens, New York. He grew up listening to Nas and 2Pac, then his love of DMX's music opened the door to a more over the top style of rap. From there, he got turned on to Twiztid, Insane Clown Posse, and Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and soon the face paint and horrorcore lyrics were his style. Being in New York City, he wasn't aware that the horrorcore scene was as big as it was, but his uploads caught the ear of Twiztid and the duo signed him to their Majik Ninja label in 2015. He was blown away by the crowds at Twiztid's New Year's Evil 8 festival in late 2015, releasing The Black Season EP soon after. In 2016, he hit the stage as a featured artist at ICP's Gathering of the Juggalos and released his debut LP, Contact.
