Gad Elbaz, born Gad Gaston Elbaz in Israel on August 20, 1982, is an Israeli singer of Moroccan Jewish descent. He began singing and writing music at age four, initially appearing with his father Benny Elbaz on the song "Aba, Otcha Ani Ohev." Elbaz's solo career includes multiple albums, beginning with "Walk in a Straight Path" in 1998, followed by "Light at the End of the Tunnel" in 2003 and "Milim Shel Ruach" in 2013. Notable albums also include Words of Spirit (2013) and Nigun Umizmor (2014), as well as Ze Hayom (2014) and Lechaim (2017). His music videos have been featured on Israeli Music 24 station, and he has undertaken successful world tours, such as the Hashem Melech Tour with over 180 shows in 53 cities. Gad Elbaz ranked Number 1 on the list of Most Views on YouTube by an Orthodox Jewish singer in both 2017 and 2018.
