Francisco Teixeira, known by his stage name Alencis, was born in 2002 in Torres Vedras, Portugal. From the age of 12, he developed a passion for electronic music, listening to and following artists such as Avicii, Martin Garrix, and David Guetta.
Inspired by Avicii's talent, in 2018, he decided to focus on music production. Determination and resilience were key to his journey, starting from scratch as a self-taught artist. He later learned from artists at different levels, experimented tirelessly, and, despite facing challenges that led to failures, grew immensely to become the artist we know today.
Alencis is currently making a name for himself as a music producer and DJ, standing out not only for his talent but also for the overcoming journey that led him to achieve great results.
One of his biggest successes is the track "Just Dance!", released through Chapter Eight Records. The track, produced in collaboration with Denro, stood out for its vibrant energy and reached the Top 30 on Beatport in the Bass House releases category, reaffirming Alencis' talent for creating tracks that resonate with audiences and stand out on global platforms.
Alencis has also performed at some of the biggest parties in Portugal, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the country's music scene. His high-energy performances have captured the crowd and strengthened his status as one of the most promising artists in the electronic music world.
In January 2024, he took on a new challenge by moving to Eindhoven, Netherlands. During his first days there, he was interviewed by Glow FM radio. This move represented a new chapter in his life and was a crucial factor in his development as an artist.
In June 2024, Alencis had the opportunity to produce at the Stmpd studios, becoming the first Portuguese artist to do so.
Additionally, Diego Miranda, a globally renowned DJ ranked among the top 100 artists in DJ Mag, believed in Alencis' potential and invited him to collaborate. The two are currently working on several projects set for release soon.
Alencis also created an official Drum & Bass remix for the Portuguese artist Diogo Piçarra, one of the most iconic figures in contemporary Portuguese music. A winner of the 6th season of the TV show Ídolos and the author of numerous hits like "Tu e Eu" and "Paraíso", Diogo Piçarra is known for his unique style that blends pop, soul, and electronic music. Alencis' remix brought a new energy to the track, showcasing his versatility as a producer and reinforcing his ability to connect different musical genres.
Through the connections he has already established, Alencis has significantly elevated the quality of his music, further consolidating himself as a leading producer and DJ.
