Mahealane is a Hawaiian name meaning “light of the full silvery moon”. She is a singer-songwriter and trumpeter based in Los Angeles where she is also known as Ruth or Ruthtrumpets. Combining her Jazz sensibilities with a love for soul and pop Mahealane weaves heartbreak into rediscovery, learning to love oneself and to trust again.
