What adventures may my music bring you when you close your eyes?
In the deep woods in the middle of Sweden Miriavyn is searching for dreams, fire and magic. With her harp, her voice and enchanting music she wanders the realms of inspiration, creating new tunes and sounds on the journey. With roots in Celtic, Nordic and Japanese traditions she mixes it with medieval melodies, experiment with fantastical soundscapes and invites you to follow on the journey, over hills and under trees, walking 'neath the lonely stars beside the crystal clear streams, in search for fire, magic and dreams.
Miriavyn has played the harp for about 20 years, taught by Elisabet Brogeby in Stockholm. Before that she learned to play the piano at the municipal music school, as well as taking singing and choir lessons. Right after finishing school she recorded the album Thankyou O'Carolan, as a tribute to the tunes she was taught during the harp lessons, where Turlough O'Carolan played a prominent role. Almost ten years after that she had the gear and time to record Medieval Melodies, and in that project she learned a lot about how to produce, mix and master a record. In 2019 the third album was released, with music written by herself - Blue Magic, enchanting, dreamy and with glowing embers.
During the pandemic she entered into Dream Alliance, creating "Medieval Relax Music" for ASMR-videos on Youtube. Several albums with tavern tunes and calm evening songs has been released since then, enlightening the dusk and creating sparks of joy around the camp fire.
