Stacey Ryan

Born on 18 August 2000 in Montreal, Canadian soul and jazz-pop singer and songwriter Stacey Ryan caught a buzz in 2022 after sharing a clip of her single "Don't Text Me When You're Drunk" and encouraging others to finish the song with their own lyrics. The popularity of this novel challenge, which ended up drewing the interest of The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, helped pave the way for a record deal with Island Records. A full studio version of the viral song followed suit, featuring collaborator Zai1k and a new single, "Fall in Love Alone," arrived in May 2022. The single shot to number one in Indonesia and a remix featuring Indonesian Idol finalist Ziva Magnolya followed a month later. In April 2023, Stacey Ryan unleashed her debut EP I Don't Know What Love Is on Island. Dropped from the label in 2024, Ryan announced that she was now an independent artist, turning from soul to jazz pop with singles "Everything Everything", "Homewrecker", "Good to Be Alone", "Sweet Talker", and "Bad Omen", ahead of the debut album Devil in Disguise, released in August 2025.
