Blaqbonez

Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka, popularly known as BlaqBonez is a Nigerian rapper born on the 29th of January. He came into limelight in February 2012 after winning Terry tha Rapman’s zombie competition. Five months after winning the competition, he released his first single titled ‘stronger’ off his ‘Hip Hop in Blaq Mixtape’. He has put out over 40 freestyles works due to his broad and versatile style and smooth delivery.  Having made waves in the Hip Hop underground scene, he was introduced into the main stage with successful LAMB August campaign (in August of 2018) with the release of Bad Boy Blaq, a collection of 10 tracks highlighting the rapper’s versatility. The album received critical acclaim and positioned him as a Nigerian Music industry favorite. It featured industry faves like Terry Apala, Oxlade, Loose Kaynon and AQ.  Bad Boy Blaq, especially through the artist’s online presence, heralded a new project in February 2019, Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up which saw features by YCee, Dremo,Prettyboydo, BOJ, and Vector.
