Born in 1981, guitarist, cellist, composer, arranger, and painter, Sébastien Giniaux is today one of the essential musicians of French jazz guitar, internationally recognized as one of the great interpreters of the gypsy jazz style in particular.
Regularly signing musical projects under his name (Mélodie des Choses, African Variations, etc.), he is also part of many other projects such as Richard Galliano s trio “New York Tango”, or the famous gypsy jazz collective “Selmer # 607”.
Sébastien can be found on about thirty records, on guitar or cello, as a performer or composer/arranger. He has been heard on stage alongside Richard Galliano, Biréli Lagrène, Didier Lockwood, Angelo Debarre, Anne Sila, Maxime Zampieri, Taraf de Haidouks, Naissam Jalal, Toumani Diabaté, Cyrille Aimée, Stochelo Rosenberg, Guillaume Galienne, Michel Fau, etc.
