Stephanie Kim, born in October 16, 1987, an American singer and ballerina better known simply as Stephanie, embarked on her career in South Korea after winning a competition that led to her joining SM Entertainment in 2004. She debuted as a member of the girl group The Grace in April 2005. The group achieved success with three studio albums and ten singles but went on hiatus in 2010 due to Stephanie's health issues. Stephanie also joined the Los Angeles Ballet in 2011, showcasing her diverse talents. In October 2012, Stephanie launched her solo music career with the release of her single album The New Beginning. Her solo venture was marked by singles like "Prisoner" in August 2015 and "Blackout" in late September 2015. She released her first EP titled Top Secret in October 2015, featuring the notable track "Up, Up" with Teen Top's L.joe. Continuing her solo career, Stephanie released "Tomorrow" in May 2016 and after her contract with SM Entertainment expired, she continued her music under Mafia Records. In 2019, Stephanie signed with WK Media and released the digital single "Man on the Dance Floor" in April, marking another new chapter in her evolving music career.
