Kathy Palma + Casa de Kello = DESTIEMPO! Out on March 18!
Kathy Palma is a Guatemala-born, US-raised bilingual neo-folk-pop-soul singer-songwriter-producer and has been featured with rave reviews in NPR’s Felix Contreras’ Alt.Latino program, The Nic Harcourt Morning Show on Latin Alt 88.5 FM, KCRW’s José Galvan’s “Chido Chévere Cool” program, La Mañana Elástica [La Bánda Elastica] with Carlos Se, Gozamos.com, Ruidosa Fest, Latin Alt 88.5 FM with Byron González, in the LAMC 2021 “official acoustic showcase” as personally invited by the creator of this prestigious alternative music conference, Tomas Cookman, as special guest of Gaby Moreno in her concert “Ilegal Mezcal Presents: Gaby Moreno & Friends 2021”, alongside El David Aguilar and Silvana Estrada, among others, featured in one of the UK’s selected Top-Ten All-Time Podcasts, Outrage + Optimism, invited to open for Carlos Sadness during his “Tropical Jesus Tour”, performed with Gaby Moreno during her 2022 Christmas Show, and most recently was invited to open the Café Tacuba show along with Casa de Kello. Palma’s 2022 and 2023 releases include “Yemanyá – Matthew S Remix”, once again in collaboration with the Italian artist, Matthew S, “Quémalo”, as performed by Palma and the four-time-Grammy®-nominated Mexican artist, Reyli Barba, also co-written and produced by ill Factor [and for which a Dolby Atmos® mix was done by Jimmy Douglass “The Senator”, the multiple-Grammy® winner for his work with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Aretha Franklin, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Björk, Missy Elliott, Timbaland and Snoop Dogg, among many others], and the most recent singles, “Mala Decisión”, “Limonada” and the Spotify #4 “Fresh Finds Latin” and “Fresh Finds” [General Market] track, “Doble Vida”, once again co-written, but this time produced by both Kathy Palma and Diego Contento, with whom Palma has additional releases planned throughout 2023.
