Joseph Schiano di Lombo is a French composer, artist and writer based in Paris. Trained in piano, clarinet, and decorative arts, he creates a multidisciplinary body of work where humor, intuition, academic references, and popular culture intertwine. His debut album "Musique de niche" (2021) featured music for dogs. Since then, he has explored various forms: the soundtrack for an installation by Théo Mercier and Céline Peychet at the Prague Quadrennial 2023 ("Gut City Punch," 2023), a collaboration with the birds of a Corsican forest ("Trio for Untuned Piano, Winged Singers and Whoever Wants to Join", 2024), bawdy songs accompanied by organ in a duo with Bonnie Banane ("L'Orguasme", 2025), and aˋ electroacoustic album made in collaboration with Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson ("Le tact", 2025). Between farce and mysticism, this multidisciplinary composer does not aim to shape a fixed artistic identity but rather to unite worlds, eras, and beings that seem inherently incompatible.
