Neoclassical Piano & Film Score Composer
Gabriel Albuquerque is a 22-year-old film composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist born in Brazil. He never had a music teacher or studied theory in a classroom. Everything he knows, he learned by ear.
As a child, he would stare at the night sky for hours, captivated by its vastness, by the quiet, by the feeling that something greater was out there, just beyond reach. He didn’t know it yet, but that same wonder would shape the way he made music.
For Gabriel, melodies have never been something to be written down and studied. They appear like constellations in the dark, guiding him toward emotions that words can’t quite capture. Music became his way of understanding the world, of expressing what can’t be seen, only felt.
That same instinct led his compositions to places he never imagined. His music has been featured in events like the Champions League, UFC, Premier League, and La Liga, as well as in dance performances, short films, and documentaries across dozens of countries. Over time, it found its audience, making him the most-streamed Brazilian neoclassical artist in the world and the youngest Brazilian composer in this genre to reach the number one spot in Brazil.
He gained recognition after reaching the 23rd position on the Billboard Top 50 TikTok Chart and the 14th position on the global viral charts. But more than numbers, what matters to him is what music has always been about: a connection that doesn’t need explanation, only feeling.
