Guitarist and lead singer of the group Oui Oui with Michel Gondry from 1983 to 1993, Etienne Charry then pursued three parallel musical paths: a pop path for the albums 36 Erreurs (1999) and Aube Radieuse (2002), a second path grouping together his various, often ephemeral sound installations, and a third path devoted to illustrative music for television and film, including his compositions for the film L'Écume des Jours in 2013.
