Novo EP chegando em 13/jun "Mar, Maré"
Leo Costa is a brazilian acoustic guitarist with a solid work as a composer, instrumentalist, arranger, educator as well as music producer for over 15 years.
His last album called “Na Densidade do Ar” (2023), is an acoustic guitar project with unedited works recorded in his own studio, in São Paulo, mixed by Adonias Souza Jr at Arsis Studios.
In 2020 release the EP “Amina Mezaache & Leo Costa”, a partnership with french flutist Amina which began in 2014 in France and was recorded after in Brazil.
“Leo Costa” (2018) is his first album with live recorded studio tracks and video-clips. It shows both individually and ensemble formation playing with excellent musicians: Rodrigo Digão Braz (drums), Marcos Paiva (bass) Amina Mezaache (flute) and Muari Vieira (acoustic guitar).
Leo has also produced some brazilian contemporary songsingwriters like “Tempos de Canção” (Álvaro Cueva) ,“Estação Felicidade” (Augusto Teixeira) featuring Zeca Baleiro, Ceumar and Alexandre Ribeiro and “Um Mundo Em Nós” (2021), a partnership with Leo Nogueira and Augusto Teixeira. The project presents songs of Nogueiras’s partners bringing more than 40 guests and musical professionals as Zeca Baleiro, Virgínia Rosa, Ilessi, Carla Casarim, Chico Salem, Kleber Albuquerque, among others.
