American-born Beverly Jo Scott has established herself in Europe as a leading blues vocalist. Based in Belgium, Beverly Jo Scott is better known for her contribution to other artists than for her own production. Arno, Maurane, Elliott Murphy and Paul Personne have all benefited from her collaboration. Her first solo album, Honey & Hurricanes, was released in 1991, alternating tracks in French and English, followed by Beverly Jo Scott Amnesty for Eve in 1999, featuring a cover of Jacques Dutronc's "La fille du Père Noël " in a duet with Arno. Since 2005, Beverly Jo Scott has played the immense Janis Joplin in the Planet Janis show. Following the success of this tribute, the Planet Janis album was released in October 2010, while Beverly Jo Scott gave an exceptional performance of the show at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris on November 5.
