A singer-songwriter based in Spain, Emma McCallion’s upbringing was filled with an eclectic mix of musical styles and genres in Ireland, influences which can be heard in her solo and collaborative outputs. As an activist for protecting and supporting vulnerable women, Emma’s songs highlight social issues and call us to action over injustice.
Her debut EP “Sing the Ohs”, produced by Raúl Nácher at Soniart Producciones Studios, features memorable soft-rock songs which address these challenging and important issues in her characteristically optimistic manner. “Take It Back”, an upbeat pop song with a yearning for a deeper connection with others in the era of social media and remoteness, was featured on Levante TV.
Her new single, “Paying for Love”, in collaboration with the organisation OFF! Just Love., is a thought-provoking take on inequality which encourages us to reflect on our impact on others whilst sending out a clear message of reconciliation.
