The Gone Jackals, a rock band from San Francisco, California, was formed in 1984 by Keith Karloff. Initially known as Keith Gale's Parallel Universe, the band underwent several lineup changes before being renamed The Gone Jackals in 1989. Their debut release, Out and About With, was published in 1990. In 1995, they released Bone to Pick, which featured songs adapted for the video game soundtrack of Full Throttle, boosting their popularity. Their final album, Blue Pyramid, was released in 1998 and included experiments with psychedelic rock. The band signed with Raspberry Records in 1999 for European distribution but disbanded shortly thereafter.
