Chika Di is a Colombian-born, California-based artist blending Afro-Latin rhythms, electronic textures, and heartfelt pop into a sound that’s both rooted and radiant. Formerly the lead singer of La Misa Negra, she toured North America for over a decade before launching her solo career in 2020. Since then, her music has appeared in Euphoria, Gentefied, and Generation+, and she became the face of McDonald’s national Hispanic Heritage Month campaign in 2024 with her single “Oh La La.”
Her debut album marked a turning point — fusing personal storytelling with cultural identity — and now, with her most intimate release to date, “I Say Yes” (out June 19), she offers a bachata-pop love letter inspired by her own proposal and produced alongside her husband.
