Nikhil Iyer is an accomplished Indian-American music artist, solo performance artist, vocalist, & guitar player. He specializes in vocal, piano, and guitar performance, composing and recording songs that highlight Indian melody, primarily through the use of voice and guitar. Living in the US his whole life, yet identifying and being immersed in Indian culture, songs, and art, allows him to express himself through an inimitable style, through whatever song it may be.
Nikhil is extremely skilled in guitar performance and creates songs that highlight the chemistry between the voice and the guitar. He studies the Bel Canto Voice technique, complemented by the stylistic Indian art form of Carnatic Music. Aside from solo performance, Nikhil composes & produces all his work, taking care of the song-making process from start to finish. He has 23 original studio releases, as well as popular versions of songs he loves. Nikhil’s work has been seen over 8 million times across Streaming, Youtube, & Social Media. His work has led him to meet Arijit Singh, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shankar Mahadevan, appear in a documentary on AR Rahman, and be recognized by Armaan Malik, and Tochi Raina.
