Pierre Éliane, born August 23, 1955 in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle), is a Catholic priest (ordained in 1997), Carmelite and musician.
He began his career as a professional musician (six albums, collaborations with, notably, Alice Botté, Manfred Kovacic, KGDD, Charlélie Couture). He entered Carmel at the age of 33, in 1988, and from 1992, he recorded albums where he sang the texts of the Carmelite saints to melodies he had composed. Her first four albums are devoted to the poems of Thérèse de Lisieux. He then sets to music the mystical songs of John of the Cross, as well as texts by Teresa of Avila and Elizabeth of the Trinity.
