I'm a music producer, composer and songwriter.
Since 1987, as a producer and composer, I've been actively working in the South Korean music industry.
I've done work for K-pop music, TV drama, TV documentary, TV culture, TV kids music, TV shows, TV commercial, radio commercial, radio shows, and religious music.
Starting at age 9, Sangmun started his classical music training by taking piano lessons and then expanding my musical talents by being involved in rock bands and choirs.
I majored in Music Composition at a university, and worked as a music arranger, composer, & as a producer in the K-pop music industry.
Afterwards, I began composing and arranging music for dramas, documentaries, and kids programs for South Korea’s major broadcasting companies such as
MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corp.), SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System), KBS (Korean Broadcasting System), and EBS (Educational broadcasting System).
The diversity of my such experience is what makes my unique and original expressions possible.
From 2006 thru 2007, I studied at Los Angeles Recording School and acquired Certificate of Recording Engineering and Pro Tools l HD Operator l Music Certificate .
Currently, I continues to work as a music producer, composer, and as an engineer in a variety of genres and styles.
My favorite music genres are orchestral and R&B (Rhythm and blues).
I believe that music is a language that expresses one’s deepest soul.
And I believe that music composition is like producing a film of waves that deliver one’s heart and leave its impression.
I'm currently working and producing in Los Angeles, California.
