Johanna Luz, singer-songwriter, produces sound universes crossing electro, dream pop and ambient, with or without her voice, playing with rhythmic illusions and the search for aerial sounds. Her sound ranges extend, building themselves as the seconds pass, in accumulation. Her electro album MARATHON ! the soundtrack of a choreographic piece was released on January 15, 2025. Johanna Luz has been performing on stage for 20 years, exploring jazz, soul, triphop and folk in groups (Johanna Luz Quintet, Sugamama, Line, Jell-oO, DBK Project), and through 7 albums. Her main instrument is the voice, accompanied by percussion, ukulele and keyboards. She also writes for Cézame Music Agency, a music publisher in synchronization. She collaborates with choreographer Marion Muzac to compose the music and perform in the pieces LETS FOLK (2017), MU (2019), ETREINTES (2021), and LE PETIT B (2022). Since 2022, Johanna Luz has composed the music for TUTTI (Minimum Moderne, series broadcast by Canal+), DANSE AU MUSÉE (Fabien Gautier+PULX), MARATHON ! (Valentin Mériot, Cie le Caddie), and more recently DQPossible by the Cie Ultra Lux Météores.
