Bay Area native ‘Phil Q.’ is an emerging R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and musician who creates romantic 90’s R&B ballads with modern twists of electronic, alternative and modern hip hop. Taking influence from artists like Michael Jackson, Jeff Bernat, Jon Bellion and H.E.R, he blends the best of each genre to create his own unique sound. While he mostly writes date night anthems, he also writes about his own battles against depression and anxiety.
His on-stage presence is something to behold. Not only can he switch between piano and guitar performances, but he can also create MPC beats under the spotlight! He has truly redefined the term, “solo artist.” He aims to take these skills to become one of the next-generation Filipino-Americans to take the stage in the Grammys!
His latest self-produced single, “Silhouette,” is a soulful blend of modern R&B, Hip Hop & Jazz. You're sipping a drink at the bar. The doors open. Bam!
