Charlie Fieber (aka Fracture) is a UK-based electronic music producer and co-founder of the Astrophonica label known for his boundary-pushing sound that blends elements of drum & bass, breakbeat, and experimental electronic music. Operating under the Fracture alias, he has carved out a distinctive space within the underground music scene with his dark, intricate rhythms and genre-defying approach. Having first emerged in the mid-2000s, Fracture made a name for himself with releases on respected labels like Critical Music, Shogun Audio, and Metalheadz. His productions are characterized by crisp, technical beats, heavy basslines, and a sharp, detailed sound design that consistently pushes the limits of both tempo and texture. Known for his ability to seamlessly blend the energy of jungle, dubstep, and grime with complex, forward-thinking soundscapes, Fracture’s music often incorporates influences from hip-hop, techno, and industrial. He has shown the breadth of his talent across a stash of genre-mashing releases and collaborations, including his 2016 project for Exit Records, Richie Brains, a supergroup with Alix Perez, Chimpo, Fixate, Om Unit, Sam Binga, and Stray. In 2024 he released the ambient-leaning mixtape SLOW860.
