After spending years honing his skills behind the scenes as a hip-hop producer and songwriter, 17-year-old Ankith Gupta discovered himself as music producer in mid-2019. Drawing from his personal life, his songs primarily revolve love and lyrical rap, found a natural home in his own DIY blend of contemporary Pop, Trap and R&B.
Since then, the Indian-based producer has released over 40 singles & 3 EP's ,all self-produced, until his breakout song Puppy Love reached international success.
He cemented his simple yet effective way of conveying the topic "Music Has No Language" with his 2020 single 7500 which was a cross border collaboration with 13 different artists across the globe. The song had immense global success and banked the Guinness World Records, Asia Book Of Records and the India Book Of Records.
His works have been featured by leading music journals like Rolling Stones India, The Wild City, Indian Music Diaries and many more. Renowned newspapers like the Times of India, The Hindu, Deccan Chronicle, and Indian Express have also featured him in their publications. He is also one of the few Indian artists to be featured and aired on the top trending by VH1.
As he continues building on his momentum with more solo projects, his knack for producing and co-writing in various musical genres has made him a sought-after collaborator in India's underground music scene.
