Nuria Fernández Gómez, known professionally as Nuria Fergó, was born in 1979 in Nerja, Málaga, Spain. She gained prominence by participating in the first edition of Operación Triunfo in 2001. Following her success, she signed with Universal Music Group and released her debut album, Brisa de esperanza, in 2002, which reached Number 1 on the Spanish charts and earned triple platinum certification. Nuria Fergó continued to release albums such as Locura in 2003, which debuted in the top 10 and was certified gold. She has performed over 500 concerts across Spain and has been recognized with three platinum and one gold album by Productores de Música de España (Promusicae). Her music has also been featured in various films and television shows.
