Utako Toyama is a multi-award-winning composer, founder of SkyBridge and recipient of the exceptional talent visa in the U.S. and the UK. She is now based in London, UK. She became the first and only Japanese songwriter who received multiple finalist awards at John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
Her goal is to use the maximum of her potential to contribute to society, using gifts of leadership and composing.
After she entered Berklee with scholarship, she founded a global project band, SkyBridge which goal is to promote diversity, equality and world peace by collaborating with musicians from all over the world and by involving the audience to their musical performances and creating the one and only moment. SkyBridge now collaborated with musicians from more than 47 countries, including Grammy awarded musicians such as Victor Wooten and Mark Walker.
