Ignacio González Vegas, known professionally as Nacho Vegas, was born on December 9, 1974, in Gijón, Asturias, Spain. He started his musical career with The Fantastics during high school and later joined Eliminator Jr. in 1990. His breakthrough came with Manta Ray, a critically acclaimed band known for its unique sound. In the late 1990s, Nacho Vegas began a solo career, releasing his debut album Actos inexplicables in 2006. He collaborated with artists like Enrique Bunbury on El tiempo de las cerezas (2006) and Christina Rosenvinge on Verano fatal (2007). Nacho Vegas founded his own record label, Marxophone, in 2010. His work has been recognized by music critics, with Actos inexplicables being named the best national album of the year by Rockdelux magazine.
