4Leuz, whose real name is Mamadou Lamine Doucouré, was born on January 5, 1984 in Jaxao, a district in the Thiès region. His career in the Hip-Hop movement began in high school. With his friends, they form the Kung-Kang group with which he plays in school foyers in Thiès. After having had his baccalaureate, he left Thiès to go to Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar where he began his solo career and took up residence on the island of Gorée. He recorded some sounds at Didier Awadi's Studio Sankara in preparation for his first album.
In Gorée he had to participate in several concerts such as the Gorée Diaspora Festival. He opened for concerts by Awadi, Duggy Tee, Bouba Kirikou, Simon's Hip-Hop Discover and Nescafé African Revelation, the Dakar 72h Hip-Hop... In 2013, he took part in the "Flow Up" competition. organized by the Africulturban association of Pikine and finished in the final with 12 other groups. Which led him to participate in the production of a compilation, bringing together these last 12, which was released on December 14, 2013.
4Leuz can be described as a committed rapper who fights for the development of the lower classes. His title "Shiaré", heralding his first solo album which will see the light of day under the DD Records label, is a good illustration of this.
With this first disc scheduled for July 14 and which bears the name "LTDD" (Lou Tekki Dii Diar), we can say that he will have laid his own stone in the building of Senegalese Hip-Hop.
