MYSTIC AURA
Mystic Aura is the captivating solo project of Italian-born singer-songwriter Sara Cicognani, blending world music, synth-pop, electronic beats, and hip-hop. While staying true to her roots as a songwriter, characterized by deep, meaningful lyrics, she embarks on an exciting journey to discover new soundscapes.
This creative exploration has led her to several collaborations, including with the talented Gabriel Lecter and Fauzi Beydoun, the leader of the legendary Brazilian band Tribo de Jah. Her upcoming album, currently in progress, combines a rich variety of musical influences, with hints of new age elements. Through this exploration, Sara envisions music as a transformative force, capable of offering enriching and healing experiences for both body and mind. For her, music remains a key element in unlocking personal expression and the mysteries of the unconscious.
SARA CICOGNANI
Born on December 21, 1977, in Lugo, Italy, Sara developed an interest in music at a very young age, founding several bands (Nocturlab, Neaskenè) in which she served as the lead vocalist and songwriter. After moving to Paris in 2014, she created a new band called Confrérie de Vic. In 2022 she decides to bring to life a new project called Mystic Aura, whose debut album is currently in the works.

1998 - Winner of the Faenza Rock Festival
2004 - Critic's Award at the Kosarock Festival in the Marche region and 3rd place at the Imola Rock Festival
2006 - Release of the first official album Apologi d'un canovaccio with the band Neaskenè (featuring collaborations with Almamegretta, Agricantus, Teresa De Sio, Ennio Morricone), published by CNI in Rome
2007 - 3rd place at the Video Freccia contest at MEI Faenza with the video for the single Amore Sia, produced by Domenico Ciolfi
2008 - Notable participation in the Ravenna Festival
2009 - Songwriter for the publishing company Linea Due, alongside Francesco Gazzè (brother of the famous Max Gazzè)
2010 - 3rd place at the Leo Chiosso Award
2013 - Collaboration with Parisian producer Angelo Di Napoli and release of the first single La vie est belle in French
2015 - Release of the second single La poète de la rose in Italian and French
2017 - Release of the video Tout est partout pareil, first single from the album Une Italienne à Paris by Frimousse Prod
2018 - Release of the album Une Italienne à Paris with Alka Records
