Sadistik Exekution was an Australian extreme metal band from Sydney, formed in 1985. The group's initial lineup included vocalist Rok and bassist Dave Slave, who met outside an Iron Maiden concert in May of that year. After a series of line-up changes, the band solidified with guitarist Sandy Vahdani and drummer Sloth by September 1986. Their debut album, The Magus, was released in June 1991 following multiple delays. The band gained notoriety for their outrageous live performances and technical death metal compositions. In 1994, they released their second album, We Are Death... Fukk You!, which led to a European tour with Impaled Nazarene and Absu in 1995. Despite internal conflicts and lineup changes, Sadistik Exekution continued to perform until their last official live show in Sydney in 1999. They reunited briefly in November 2009 for the first annual Australian Metal Awards.
