Wolfgang Fierek, born on December 9, 1950, in Ottobrunn near Munich, Germany, is a singer and actor. After completing his education, he underwent training as a mechanic and briefly worked in the field before serving four years as a conscripted soldier with the Bundeswehr from 1970 to 1974. He later held various jobs, including truck driver, waiter, and DJ in Munich. His acting career began in 1977 when he was introduced to filmmaking by Klaus Lemke, leading to his debut role in Idole. Wolfgang Fierek's breakthrough came with the release of "Rummenigge" in 1983, a collaboration with Cleo Kretschmer. His musical career continued with notable singles such as 1985's "Resi, I hol di mit mei’m Traktor ab", which became one of his most popular songs. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Wolfgang Fierek released several albums, including Wia im echt'n Leben (1986), Wolfgang Fierek (1990), Koa Angst vorm Wind (1996), and I bin koa Engel (1998). His acting roles included appearances in television series such as Monaco Franze, Schloßherren, and Ein Bayer auf Rügen. Subsequent albums include I bin a Bayer – Party ohne Ende (2002) and Sweet Home Bavaria (2015).
