Transit, a Swiss hard-rock band, formed in 1982 from the East Swiss school band HUSH. Their debut album Break Away was released in 1985. The breakthrough came with Dirty Pleasures (1988), featuring hit singles "Take Your Love" and "You Can’t Stop The Fire", which reached number 8 and number 22 on the Swiss charts, making Transit the first Swiss rock band to have two single-chart hits in a year. The album peaked at number 16. Following this success, Transit toured extensively with notable acts such as Smokie and Krokus. Despite disbanding in 2001, they reunited for three exclusive concerts from 2010 to 2011.
