Melissa Yansane, is a French artist but also Guinean from her father & Congolese Italian from her mother, she is by definition a symbol of eclecticism. Her close connection to "world music" is natural and evident, exacerbated by the many trips she made from an early age. This was decisive in the search for his musical identity nourished by an insatiable interest in different cultures.
Born in Aix-en-Provence but raised in Conakry & Kinshasa, she was exposed to music at a very young age, following her singer mother on tour and attending numerous festivals. She took her first musical steps in her high school, later in a gospel group.
She will make her first major appearance at 15 at a gala where she sang in front of many personalities. She will then begin to write and compose her own songs.
