Grzegorz Jurczyk (born 1991) - polish composer, arranger and instrumentlist. In 2015, he graduated with honours from the composition class of Prof. Aleksander Lason at the Music Academy in Katowice. Since that time he has been composing regularly and presenting his compositions during numerous concerts and modern music festivals.
He was an active participant of composers workshops led by various artists such as Louis Andriessen (2012), Helmut Lachenmann (2014), Hans Zimmer, Dario Marianelli (master classes as a part of Film Music Festival, Alvernia Studio, Cracow, 2014), Adam Sztaba (2017), Agata Zubel (Warsaw Autumn Festival, 2018), and Gavin Greenway (workshops dedicated to working in a recording studio as a conductor, Luslawice, Poland, 2019).
He presented his compositions during festivals such as Brand-New Music Festival, Gdansk New Waves Festival, Poznan Musical Spring, Śląska Trybuna Kompozytorów, Student Art Festival (Katowice, 2012 and 2016), and other festivals in Cracow, Warsaw, Kielce and in the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music. He also took part in festivals in the Czech Republic, Serbia, the United Kingdom (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London), the USA and Bulgaria.
