Dramarama is an American alternative rock and power pop band formed in 1982 in Wayne, New Jersey. The founding lineup featured John Easdale, Mark Englert, and Chris Carter, who were later joined by Peter Wood and Ron Machuga. After releasing the single “You Drive Me” in 1982, the group issued the EP Comedy in 1984. The band achieved significant success with the song “Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)”, which prompted a move to Los Angeles. Their discography includes the albums Cinéma Vérité in 1985, Box Office Bomb in 1987, and Stuck in Wonderamaland in 1989. After signing with Elektra, they released Vinyl in 1991 and Hi-Fi Sci-Fi in 1993, which reached number 10 on the Heatseekers chart. The group disbanded in 1994 but reunited in 2003 following an appearance on the television program Bands Reunited. They released Everybody Dies in 2005 and Color TV in 2020. Former drummer Jesse Farbman died in 2014, and founding member Tom Mullaney died in 2025.
