Dorota Rabczewska, known professionally as Doda, was born on February 15, 1984, in Ciechanów, Poland. She is a singer who began her musical journey at the age of 16 when she became the vocalist for the Polish hard rock band Virgin. In 2002, they released their debut album Virgin, which included the singles "To Ty" and "Mam Tylko Ciebie". The band's second album, Bimbo (2004), debuted at Number 1 on the Polish Music Charts with hits like "Dżaga" and "Kolejny Raz". After a lineup change, Virgin released their third album, Ficca (2005), which included the single "Szansa". The band disbanded in 2007. Doda then launched her solo career with Universal Music Polska, releasing her debut album Diamond Bitch that same year. Notable singles from this period include "Katharsis" and "Nie Daj Się". She has won multiple MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Polish Artist in 2007, 2009, and 2023.
