Vitruvian is a one-man rock and metal project based in Los Angeles and run by musician and composer, David Skelnik. He is a multi-instrumentalist with over 25 years of experience and has been in countless bands throughout his life as a guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer – touring areas on both the east and west coast of the United States.
Vitruvian incorporates a wide range of sounds and styles with influences from progressive rock and metal masters like Symphony X, Dream Theater, and Pink Floyd.
Vitruvian’s first official album “The New Beginning” is both a personal story and an exploration into the human situation that we all face. It incorporates ideas of Zen, universal enlightenment, and understanding the human mind.
The love for storytelling is readily apparent and reflected in Vitruvian’s music as each song is a progression that takes the listener on an epic journey. The 4 song EP is being released now with the full album coming out in mid to late 2024.
