Henri Seroka, born on May 9, 1949, in Anderlecht, Belgium, is a Belgian composer and singer of Polish and German descent. His career began in the late 1960s performing across Europe, the USA, Japan, and the USSR. Seroka's passion for composing led him to author songs for notable artists such as Ivan Rebroff, Betty Dorsey, Lulu, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Dorothée, Roland Kaiser, and Gunter Gabriel. His composition "Avanti la Vie" won the Golden Record at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984. He also composed music for the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, earning him a second Golden Record. Seroka's film scores include international works such as Ataturk, as well as director Jacek Bromski’s films such as Alice and The Art of Love. For the Polish TV series In God's Little Garden, he received multiple awards at the 42nd International Film Festival in Houston, USA.
