The true power of a DJ can never quite be defined in its full description or its powerful intent;
however the full scale of a prevailing, inventive DJ can be scripted throughout country leaving his
or her historical mark all over the world. With club banging beats and the continuous
brainstorming process to stay relevant and maintain your "DJ status" in the music culture, which
isn't always the easiest task to accomplish in the declining music commerce. This musical
distinction is found in DJ King Sams, the voice of mix tapes, the king of production and DJ
royalty at its finest.
Moroccan-French DJ, producer, and radio personality DJ King Sams is an International music DJ.
DJ King Sams was born June 28, 1982 in Paris, France and currently lives in
Miami, Florida.
A native of Paris, the young DJ didn't have it easy in the beginning stages of his childhood
upbringings, including financial issues, run-ins with the law and overall self-identification as a
teenager. After attending school overseas DJ King Sams, eventually found his true pulse in life
and begin to forge ahead and brand his mark on the territory. Reflecting back on his introduction
into the music industry the young DJ states "music was always my first love" and that he recalls
recording famous hip hop radio shows on tapes and selling them to classmates in school. With
early ambition and drive displayed that early in life, there is no question why DJ King Sams is
one of the most popular DJ's in today's entertainment sector.
After graduating from high school and holding a host of positions in the grind to his ultimate goal
in the industry, DJ King Sams eventually released his first mix tape in 2001 entitled ' RnB
evolution volume 1' which is noted to have been very successful in both the United States as well
as Paris. DJ King Sams has been featured in various hip-hop magazines and is noted as one of
the most influential tastemakers of this century.
Accolades and recognition includes participating in the "Hip-Hop Festival in Paris" in 2003,
hosting a live radio show, with Stomy Bugsy of 96 FM Skyrock Paris, a host of successful mix
tapes, including his first two US mix tapes which were released in 2007 entitled "Miami Code 75-
305" and "Miami Code La Familia." The young DJ is best known for producing remix vinyl's
and mix tapes, including the successful "A Sex Affair" series and Miami Code.
The innovative DJ has worked with the likes of notable artist such as Bobby Valentino, Young Buck, NORE, Junior Reid and Red Café to name a few.
Drawing inspirations from DJ forefathers such as, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Q-Bert this prevailing DJ
is destined to best the next best thing to the evolution of music.
At a first glance DJ King Sams seems quite unsuspecting. But daily, he slips past the delectable
dishes of fine-diners, past the flashing lights of the glitzy clubs and chic boutiques of Miami into
his "workshop", his "think tank", the studio. Here, he takes the cliché', "Where the magic
happens", to another level.
Future plans for the master of turntables include releasing an album in 2009, and a few mix tapes
and to continue branding his musical movement around the world.
"I am the definition of Hip hop with some Oriental instrument." With a history of such vast
achievements and celebrity repertoire it is very clear to see that DJ King Sams is not your average
DJ.
