Artists Biography:
As “Arnie-The-Sunking”, writes and produces Arnie Sprenger very personal, unconventional, amusing German-speaking songs which bring the head, belly and legs equally in movement. These are the small stories which cause big feelings! The stylistic range occur, with a lot of love to the detail to fully arranged songs, reaches from Rock, Pop, Funk, Reggae to Country or Folk influences, thus in the best sense „Crossover!“ He connects the present with the past and thereby creates a completely fresh and ear caching independent german power pop sound with mainstream hit-approach! As a live musician (guitar and singer), he has learned the craft as a musician and Live Performer in countless appearances on european stages. Live on tour, he is on the move since then with his hard rock band “Ghandi” (from 1985 to 1993 with charts success in Japan) and from 1993 to the end of 2019 Arnie was successful with the party duo "Willi Manilli" at home and abroad. “Arnie-The-Sunking” sees himself as a lawyer of the easy people whose miseries and fears he processes reflected, and packs into German lyrics and songs! The sun stands for life, growth and has a happy, positive radiation on all living beings of the mother nature! From these considerations, matured, with the search for an artist's name full of sound and full of sense, the idea to mount as “Arnie-The-Sunking”, he sit on the throne of the sun king and take over the daily government business of the “Kingdom Of The Sun”. The "Fine Guys", three young man, but experienced musicians, support him live, on the stages of this world accompany musically! A new artist takes the stage, organically grown and full of drive and energy, a "free spirit of the mainstream"! Understand these words as a manifesto and as a musical governmental declaration! Oh yes, one still point remains: „His heraldic animal is the sun!“ Small joke!
