Soft Analog is an Alternative Pop band, founded in Ankara in 2019, combining Disco, Funk and Synthwave sounds with local instruments. They blend Turkish melodies with electronic music by taking inspiration from musicians like Daft Punk, French 79, Röyksopp, L’limperatrice, Alan Parsons, and Justice. At the tail end of 2020, "Soft Analog" began performing live, and soon shared the stage with other outstanding local and international performers. In major cities including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, they debuted their solo concert series named "YOLCULUK" and performed at numerous festivals throughout Turkey.
The song "Tanıdık Bir Koku," from Soft Analog's debut album will be released in February 2023. The concept of this album, which is dominated by Synthwave and Disco sounds, is a battle between worlds where a character lives in and constructs in her/his mind. The album has a fictitious feel in the musical and visual sense, and the future releases will give us additional hints about the story.
The story's beginning song, “Tanıdık Bir Koku” will be released on February 24.
